I’d wear a sari or an anarkali frock w/out a flare so it was subtle and not flamboyant.
Maybe something like this:
(the outfit on the right, and I’d add sleeves since you probably wont be able to wear sleevless)
I cant find a sari subtle enough or not as sheer.

A chiffon or light silk saree in bright pastel color with gold work (Pretty much close to the color/print below)
