and did I mention how I would update my FB status to "You would not believe what my *****y mom in law did and how it exposed the limitless stupidity of my Yale graduate of a husband. Good riddance". And boy the comments and likes and shares that would roll in.....
I will not be able to forgive or forget anything like this. And physical looks or anything else material does not matter to me.
Hopefully no one has to ever face anything similar. The character promised herself she will never forgive him or go back to him...but she at that time did not know she would be facing severe health issues with her daughter.'Aulaad' makes you do things you would never imagine. And here to save her life she had to go back
I might forgive because in a twisted way asher was just as much a victim of his mothers scheming tactics, seems to have changed him as a person, he is shown to have not moved ahead with his life becoming a bitter man and getting on by just immersing himself in his work, so he was robbed of his happiness as well.
So far khirad's actions make sense, she refuses to offer him any explanations despite asher trying to get a reaction out of her, he corners her and lashes out at her as if in his own way trying to get her to say something, to explain herself but she refuses and i like that. but what i would never stand for is living under the same roof as that psycho saas who destroyed her life in the first place, this is where i feel i will put my foot down, will not tolerate BS from the saas, and certainly will not trust her around the daughter, if she could throw khirad out knowing she is carrying her grandchild its obvious she has no love lost for the child and might even harm her to get her way again. its time khirad sets her straight and stands up for herself, i hope they don't show her dealing with the saas the same way she has been dealing with asher.

Honestly hope that this never happens to anyone. Hope that people have the decency to at least talk to their spouse once. The reason why Fareeda did this in the first place was she was pretty sure of Asher's reaction. She had a surefire plan. Actually in the novel the character of Asher is older (according to what Fawad Khan said) he is 8 years older than Fawad. This makes Asher's character 48 years old. I believe that Khirad is about 20 or 21. Although he is rich and very well educated this gap exists between both characters. He falls head over heels in love with her but Khizr makes him uncomfortable. In the drama this character is played by Fawad who is 40 but looks to be between 25 to 28 due to his physique. Had the character been played by someone older looking it would be easier to understand the mistrust.......Remember Irfan Aslam in Mera Naseeb - his character was believable because of the way he looks. He is an ordinary looking guy.
Also from last week's episode I think Khirad has a soft corner for Asher. She does make him Chai and at times they look like a normal family. If the father of your kids is good with the kids you do develop a soft corner for them. i am sure it is the same with men.........they respect a woman who is good mother to their children.
Haven't read the novel so I don't know the age mentioned in it but I thought Fawad Khan is 30.. born in 1981.

Saw online that he was born in 1971. Which makes him 40 but he definitely looks more like 30. I don't know what his confirmed age. Maybesomebody could find out for sure

In the novel Ashar is 8 yrs older than Khirad, not 8 yrs older than Fawad :)
Err yes !! btw why on the planet earth we 're keep saying Fawad not Asher ;)
Well beside joke.. it is still a drama and at the end all happy happy but real life is not that Sweet and charming after all … So, sometimes one have to compromise for kids only if the husband realize his mistake even “asher didn’t .. that yale graduate can’t say sorry than whatelse can be expected " remember 4 years ago he didn’t attended her phone calls now stating " tumhare neechpan ki koyi haad be hai… tum meri he nahin meri batty ki be mujrim ho… I hate u”
errr … so , no can’t do that
