Re: if you were in joey’s place…

^That doesn’t even make sense, @Xtron . She doesn’t like YOUR friends, how does it reflect upon her own friends? Obviously you aren’t a saint, especially if you just “That” a comment like “bros before hos”. :halo:

Anyways, I would never break off a relationship w/ my SO for my friends, esp. when I pick my SO over all the people in my life. Call me lame or whatever, but that is how it is. Also, in the case of Joey, he was never serious w/ any of the girls he brought home, he basically went through them like a box of tissues so of course it wasn’t hard for him to dump a girl for his friends. Also, the girl was at fault for being uber-fake and two-faced. I could see most people being turned off by that.

If I had been dating a guy for a few days/weeks and I found him controlling, insecure and overtly-possessive, I would definitely see it as a red flag and I would dump him if he openly hated my friends, especially when they were good people who also happened to have no bad feelings towards him. In many cases, abusive guys tend to want their partners to be isolated and I would wonder whether he was trying to do that with me.However, at the end of the day I put my relationship first. Also, he happens to be an amazing person and although it would be very rare for him to not like a friend of mine, I would consider his concerns regarding my friendship.
