Some imagery can be off putting... but seldom does a real chain smoker bother with packaging.

i know some smokers and the images have never turned them off. i'm sure they know the health risks and images like that don't bother them

for somebody who’s on their way to become a regular smoker, these images should stir them a little for sure.

Chain smokers don’t think so.

It’s actually really sad when I see patients admitted in ICU with heart failure, pulmonary edema (fluid in lungs) and still craving for cigarettes :smack:

While such imagery may not deter a percentage of smokers (50%?) I think it just might deter the rest. Absolutely worth giving it a shot.

I know enough smokers that have seen pics like these and other than being annoyed that the packs "look nasty to carry around" it hasn't impacted their smoking at all. Some have even considered purchasing those tacky cigarette cases to transfer the cancer sticks to.

I think to smokers its the addiction.

I have had friends who were smokers, who'd cough chobis ghantay and admitted its destroying them but the addiction was too powerful.
