The Deputy Secretary Establishment Division Shahhbaz Joseph locked his 10 year old house maid in his flat before Eid and left with him family for Lahore. After three days when the hunger became unbearable the 10 years old child housemaid started crying. The neibhouring hearing cries from a locked flat called the police who rescued the locked child. The Dy. Secretary informed the police his cancer patient sister was admitted in Shaukat Khanaum Hospital and he went to see her. He expected to come early but due to condition of her sister he was delayed. Whether he went to see his family in Lahore or to see her patient sister. Whether he was to come early but was delayed. But the question is how could he imagine leaving a 10 years old in locked flat alone? He had his own children. Is this couple a stone heart that not a single minute they realized if their own 10 years child can remain alone in a locked flat even for six hours? This stone heart couple is said to be educated. Did not they know if God forbid electricity goes the child is in dark. If flat gets fire due to any reason. Had this couple had even the slightest humanity they could had taken the 10 years housemaid with them. Leaving the child housemaid in locked room and not taking this housemaid with them even as accompanying housemaid shows they had from the very beginning had no thinking whatsoever about the poor child. He is worried about health of his sister. Should such people expect God’s blessing for his own sick sister if he has such a stone heart for a child year sister of others”. The Dy. Secretary’s wife is a Principal. What sort of education this stone heart women would be giving to children and what type of future mothers and fathers she would be educating I shiver to think of. Taking some minutes from their strict busy schedule trying maximum possible protecting the life of rich by affording them bullet proof cars, the Prime Minister and President would fail if they did not give an exemplary punishment to this couple and this Dy. Secretary is not immediately removed from service. They have though by allowing import of bullet proof cars proved once again that like previous rulers they too have no interest for children of this country otherwise with same amount they could had provided schools in villages. As a parent I request every reader to write a letter to the President and Prime Minister against this couple though I know it would just be waste of time and money. If you have love and care for your own kid, you would surely do it as it would at least satisfy one conscious. God may in return same your children from such happenings with them.
