It’s a positive step from RIM. They’ve realized that consumer apps are the key to gaining traction in the marketplace & eventually drive enterprise adoption also. They’re trying to create a critical mass of developers to get more apps either developed or repackaged from android. I have a couple of students who’ve submitted a few useful apps over the past few days.

TLK, here’s one that was submitted and approved last year - called “TempNotes” : http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/content/34254/ . The new one is sort of an extension to this one and is called “ManyNotes”. It should appear on the AppStore on Monday next week.

Good idea - a temp notebook that deletes the contents when you close the app. very nice
