**I personally believe that there are no consequences **everything happens for a reason, and if we were to know our future what ever we do will somehow come to accumulate one way or another how it was meant to be in our destiny.

And yes, that thought of destiny occurred to me while I was typing my first response. I DO believe in consequences. Punishments (even those mentioned in religion) ARE consequences. Allah gives us warnings to enjoin good, to stay away from the wrong path, to use our intellect/aqal…because there ARE and WILL BE consequences for everything we do and even for that which we fail to do.
