hmmm 24 hours into the future is a great thing... but I doubt it would be that amazing some of us would still end up leaving things to the last minute and being late.

I'd probably find out that i'll be just having a mundane day as usual :D. Although if i foresee a plate of biryani that could brighten my future up a bit. Biryani for president!

You could use the ability to make better/sounder decisons ahead of time. You see that a decision you made isn't going to work..so you can take measures to avert it. The insight would also allow you to help people as you'd know in advance what will befall them.

What can you drastically change in 48 hours? I think the question should have been better if it talked about changing the past events.

Who said that it HAD to be drastic? Even making better decisions about minor issues can help make your day run smoother.
Also, a point to consider is that an action that lasts a minute or but a few moments can have a HUGE impact on one's life....even the words you utter (they may take you but a few seconds) can destroy a relationship that took a very long time to build. Let's say that you were able to forsee that within the next 24 hours, you'd end up in a serious car accident...one that would drastically impact your life and that of someone else's. Could you use this knowledge to try and avoid the situation? Maybe leave at an different time...take a different route to your destination, etc. Insaan ki zindagi aik pal main kitna badal sakti hai...what is 24-48 hours compared to that?

I personally believe that there are no consequences everything happens for a reason, and if we were to know our future what ever we do will somehow come to accumulate one way or another how it was meant to be in our destiny.

And yes, that thought of destiny occurred to me while I was typing my first response. I DO believe in consequences. Punishments (even those mentioned in religion) ARE consequences. Allah gives us warnings to enjoin good, to stay away from the wrong path, to use our intellect/aqal......because there ARE and WILL BE consequences for everything we do and even for that which we fail to do.
