i wanna meet three persons
iqbal(he was a thinker and i appreciated his shairre a lot and i never found any poet after him who will be at his level)
sir syed ahmad khan(he was the first leader that aroused education feelings in muslims)
and liaqat ali khan (he was the last best leader pakistan ever got)

Haris, Im glad you noticed that too. Seriously, if someone meets Imran, he should ask him about this. I felt he was unhappy about something, you could clearly tell by his face, and lets hope we get to know why. I respect Imran as a great human being though, he loved his mother and struggled alot to make sure that atleast some poor people suffering from cancer get operated. A noble effort indeed.

Coming to some of the lesser prominent politicians, there is one man in particular that I would love to meet, that is Aitezaz Ehsan. The guy is brilliant and is more of a constituitionalist/lawyer than a politician though, on the lines of Jinnah.

Yeah Spock, I think that was a time when Imran first stepped out into the real world where even his position, background and glamour wasnt enough; he was trying selflessly to work for a cause and at this point after 1992 when he began campaigning for the hospital he must have come across difficulties and glitches in the 'system', the social and political mind-set of the people; common and privileged as well as those holding key appointments. He was perhaps disgruntled over the lack of support from the authorities of the time? Eventually though, I absolutely agree that he emerged victorious like a Tiger (as his campaign labelled him and all his supporters you might remember :) ), the way he believed in never say die on the field as well, othewise he could have easily been discouraged enough to give up. perhaps thats where his character strength and fighter spirit proved that he meant serious business. In that regard he absolutely is a hero!

And nice to mention Aitezaz Ahsan, he seems quite an interesting guy and can talk very well on any subject, he's a poet too!

yeah, another Paki hero. I have seen him tun in Pakistan, literally. I can never forget what he was talking about - it was hilarious. The guy was totally out of mind.
and not only him, I saw some other so-called leaders too - the same way.
It happens when these people get free imported stuff .

Among those not in this world anymore;

Yes, Mr Bhutto. Among other things I’d also like to see and infer up close what makes a man with qualities, intelligene, education, background and charisma such as him, end up the wrong way.

I’d also like to meet FM Ayub Khan.

Sheikh Mujeeb is a must meet!

Apart from that, various military commanders who played key political roles would be a delight to meet; Yahya, Niazi, Tikka, Zia

Among those present;

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman; to see what the man is all about.

Imran Khan; to fathom what actually goes on in the politics section of his mind.

Pir Pagarra; I’d love to know what the fuss is all about.

Altaf Bhai; I’d love to know what the fuss is all about & to know what his leadership phenomenon is and how it works!?

BB; I’m sure she’s an interesting person and there’s so much more to her.

AM Asghar Khan; He’s been a politician for 4 decades now and has taken on every player in this field with courage. He must know a lot! And he must have a serious ideology in his mind, which he needs to explain and make ppl think about. Everyone respects him, but he never holds any office. He’s so grand he was the cheif guest as Air Chief when 29th PMA LC passed out in April 1964 with Cadets Shabbir Sharif and Pervez Musharraf as two future stars of the country. He is baba to everyone.

PM Aziz; he’s the wrong guy at the right place! Or vice versa. Charismatic and thoroughly professional. I’d love to learn much from him.

There are many more from today and yesterday I’d love to meet, but these would be more important.

And, I’d also like to meet Kashmala Tariq!
To admire her…& her fellows for working for women’s rights!

I have met almost all the politician who are alive except Sharifs and Altaf Hussain...out of the ones dead Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto because i think he was the best of all

Mujib-ur-Rehman to find out what he really believed in and Gen. Zia to know what made him destroy Pakistan
