Would you see that as a positive or negative thing?

Saudi style or a bit more relaxed like Iran..

(Obviously they’ve mixed bits up with culture and so on but don’t want to get into specifics as the thread will get muddy.. I’m speaking generally)..

Very few people support those bearded goons who talk of bringing Islamic revolution in Pakistan so that can't happen for now.

If it happens at all then it will take Pakistan back to the stone ages.

Hahahaa Well if like Imran Khan said he wanted to bring a "Felai Islami riasat" Then I am perfectly fine with a welfare state based on Islamica principles.

I would like Islamic values to be upheld but the outlook would be like old style Islamic regimes where you could argue they were very secular as well giving a lot of benefits to non-muslims as well.

Khair I think if Mullah style revolution happened then I would probably be in front of CM at countering them.... Zealots of any religion should be treated with caution.

I have no quarrels with the average Molvi sahab, its just the Saudi Petro dollar funded fundoos that make me angry.

I cant turn my head without one of them jumping up and saying “Shirk!” “Shirk!” “Bidat” Bidat"… UFFF them and thier crazy fatwas.

If Pakistan ever got into thier hands they would spend the first week arguing about what to call the country… never mind so called sharia where everyones supposed to obey except the upper echelons of the elite society…

Oh God I don't even want to imagine that. Iran was and is a Shia majority, so they all had a common belief. If Pakistan, probably the most diverse sectarian population, had an Islamic revolution, it would be HELL.
