…and their were rallys and protests everywhere n u were asked to participate…would you?
danger of suicide bombing (Huge threat)?
ill treatment by the poilce and force?
potential risk of being kidnapped?
and numerous unthinkable risks involved?
Secondly if u were living abroad would u leave ur job, family etc to go back to pakistan to be a part of the revolution and support the country?
i need practical honest answers!!!
My answer: I will not but not cuz im scared fr my life but i feel the country is not the problem the people are..mentality and jhail pana hasn’t changed. Each one is more lalchi thn the other EVEN if this govt goes the next govt will also eat the country (I have personally lost hope frm the people, but thts beside the point)!
Re: If there was a Revoultion going on in Pakistan
I don't see myself marching on the streets because (a) I hate crowds, I nearly fainted in a busy bazaar in Lahore :p so I wouldn't stand a chance in a protest (b) I'd leave the protesting to the mard hazraat, not a good idea to throw yourself in there with the men in Pakistan, its pathetic enough travelling on public transport and (c) due to safety reasons since the revolution, if it happens, wouldn't be the most peaceful one, we can expect a lot of violence!
I do however plan on moving back and serving the country in whatever way I can. Protesting on the streets is a form of political movement that might put a lot of pressure on the government to solve the broader issues. But it won't deal with the real issues that Pakistanis face everyday. For that, we need a **grassroots **movement and I am willing to be a part of that InshaAllah.
Re: If there was a Revoultion going on in Pakistan
Peaceful protests are a sign of a living and brave nation. All Pakistanis youth and seniors should protest peacefully.
There is nothing wrong with them rather everything is wrong in not protesting against tyranny, oppression and looting. It is also against Islam not to speak up peacefully. On the other hand it is completely hara'am for the leaders to oppress, loot, kill and instigate fear in the masses through force.
Re: If there was a Revoultion going on in Pakistan
Yeah, i definitely want to be part of the revolution... but I don't think my mom would let me go to Pakistan.
I will do my part to serve and to safe this country. Insha Allah.
