if someone doesnt like you…nothing can change their mind about you.
If someone does like you…they can still end up changing their mind and dislike you for whatever reason.
Do u find this true or not?

I think it works both ways. People can dislike you but maybe they haven't had the chance to get to know you and when they do, their reaction/judgment may change.
Likewise, just because someone likes you do not guarantee that the likeness/friendship will remain.

Many cases I have seen around where people initially dislike someone and then change their opinion after getting to know the person a bit more ...
and the same the other day round too, what may seem to be a perfect click , goes sour after getting to know the person more ...

I heard this line in one of the talks/lecture and the person said that if you don't like someoone that means that you haven't given them enough time or chance to prove you worng ... so i say give it enough time and your thoughts and feelin about that person will change

Someone from GS told me they thought I was weird until they talked to me. So yeh I guess it changes.
If someone doesn't like you, it's going to take a long time for them to change their views (if they feel like it). If you really like someone, you can't begin disliking/hating them all of a sudden.

i agree with you Sara - ppl are more negative than positive - so they easily hate others and dislike them .. on the other hand -- ppl who like may change their views also

Initially, when I meet someone for the first time...I dont like them. I usually change my opinion later when I find out more about them. So, yes its possible.

solution is simple. Never meet people for the first time, always meet them for the 2nd and 3rd time :)

I haven't seen many people like that....If I dont like someone yet decide to give them a chance...it will always be in back of my mind that i dont like this person...and when something happens, i can just say, my instincts were right to not like this person"

Is it pessimistic or skeptical to say...people never change? So if you dont get along with someone as an adult....u probably never will, no matter how much one "Matures" or changes..... or else its very rare.

Dictator's use the trick of whooping the asses of those who do not like them to make their haters their worshipers all the time and that trick seems to work very well.
