i wouldn’t think point no 1 if he tells he would live with parents. But i will not think point no.2 either because someone saying he wants to live with parents doesn’t necessarily mean that he is kind to parents. Some guys i have seen prefer to live with parents because of the financial,social and security reasons and not because they are kind of obedient/kind/compassionate souls. Known some couples who would not give a damn to parents well being but living in the same house so they can easily save up lot of money and because grandparents can look after the kids when they both are out to work.

I’m not a girl, but I don’t see why it’s considered a bad thing, especially if you’re an only son.

And they shouldn’t have to. It is preference and thanks to education “modern girls” have more options than to be at the whims of the prospective husbandS and in laws.

i don’t think there are any specific questions that would give me a clear idea whether he is real kind or a douchbag unless i know the guy very well.
if any guy comes to me saying he would want to live with parents i would not mind that, i would not mind living in the same house with his parents.

The question is how much of a loafer am I to think that’s the best option because an industrious mil means less work for me. Like I remember the thread where op was unhappy she couldn’t feed her husband and I was like why is that a problem?!
