does it mean that they have lost the battle and I am a good debater?
They have given up on me and have accepted the fact they no matter what they say it is not going to convince you. Does it also mean that I am hard headed and arrogant?

I can’t speak for anyone but I find it useless to argue online at least. I just smile it off because lots of people get emotional about little things.

In person, I do respond and try to deliver my point across but if I see the persons verbal/physical behavior becoming aggressive (raising voice, hand gesture) , I bail out lol. I don’t like arguments

Then I always stop, when other person are convinced, but for ego sake keep talking.
Ego drive us in strange ways.

Some arguments are meant to be had. It is not to convince the other party. It is to make a change. For the better. Got to pick ones spots. And always be ready to acknowledge when one is in the wrong.

Arguments should be honest. Then it doesn’t matter how passionate it gets.

Today at Tayyaba Masjid in Katy at Maghrib. You are cordially invited. We are serving homemade Dahi Baray and others will have some other goodies to share.

or, it means [like in my case] some people do not like to argue for the sake of argument [baHs baraaye baHs] because it’s futile to go in circles…people have their strong convictions based on their understanding and it’s rather not possible to convince them. why waste your energy on something that is so frivolous [sa’ii laa_Haasil baraaye furoo’ii masaa’il].
