If on a winter's night a traveller ....

What a book!!!

Never read anything by Italo Calvino before, but this book had me screaming out for more.

It is by far the strangest novel ever written - one that doesn’t make any sense, up untill the last chapter (even then, i had to read it twice to make proper sense of it). It’s such a refreshing change from the mass produced crap that most 20th century authors come up with.

Has anyone read any of his other books?

I see, no wonder you needed to read it for the second time. The first time wasn’t satisfying and pleasurable enough that the second time you finally got it. Good for you!
