If not evolution,

Re: If not evolution,

haha.. we see evolution around us everywhere. why does your this years flu vaccine not work against next year's virus, and even less against the year after's?

there are a lot of instances one can cite of very visible evolution. google away pal.

Re: If not evolution,

That is not evolution. Did Influenza virus change into Hepatitis virus? Only few amino acids on H antigen and N antigen change which make it unrecognizable to last years IgG antibodies in our blood. This is not evolution.

Re: If not evolution,

like i said, people who don't comprehend evolution are teh ones complaining.

that is evolution.

you are claiming speciation is the only form of evolution.

Re: If not evolution,

or lack of logic? I have not seen any convincing evidence put forth by her. Same old unscientific claims to convince gullible people.

And yes, it is her bad luck if she did not get a chance to attend such a prestigious university. I do not find any hesitance in talking about my accomplishments in order to establish my credentials.

Good luck.

Re: If not evolution,

Ad hominem. Yea, now I must not be able to "comprehend" it. Logical fallacies. Say something new.

Define evolution for me? In most superficial sense, it is the change in allele frequency. I agree with that definition. But such change is said to result in emergence of new species. I do not agree with that, as there is no prospective evidence for it.

Influenza virus continues to remain Influenza virus. It can only create changes in those amino acids which are not responsible for its basic functioning. It only creates changes in variable domains of its proteins. Yet it continues to remain Flu virus, and has so for the last 100,000 years .

Re: If not evolution,

okay here is something new - the big man in the sky makes life forms out of water. hallelujah brother who doesn't understand evolution and thinks speciation is the only aspect to it.

Re: If not evolution,

logical fallacy. red herring. We are talking about evolution, not about God. Speciation IS the ultimate consequence of evolution by which evolution tries to explain the diversity of life.

What an idiotic ignorant queer you are.

Re: If not evolution,

dinosaurs did not evolve into mammals. they evolved into birds. influenza cannot become hepatitis...first of all hepatitis already exists.

don't care where you went for your education, it clearly didn't do much for your intellect, beta.

Re: If not evolution,

another khoji? i dont get why we need to put up with ignorant people like you.

oh and, just to let you know. i know you're a multi.

Re: If not evolution,

lol. either way you dont understand evolution. name calling - another hallmark of the religious god lovers. :hehe: heaven awaits you with its pleasures pal. forget the flu virus’ evolution.

Re: If not evolution,

don’t forget the 72 virginssss.

mods before you pick up on this, please realize it is him who resorted to insults and name calling.

Re: If not evolution,

Aunti, I gave hepatitis as an example, perhaps a bad one. Sure, Influenza virus does not change into a "new" virus. Majority of its genetic sequence remains same as its parental virion particles.

Even when there are huge mutations like picking up a whole new strand of RNA from birds in pigs, and we get outbreaks like H5N1, it still remains a flu virus and gives symptoms which are not new.

There is no evidence that dinosaurs changed into birds. Unless untill you can show it via double blind randomized controlled trials, it is hard to believe what you preach. All you are doing is putting your interpretation on historical data points, which constitutes retrospective evidence. Retrospective evidence is considered very weak form of evidence in scientific circles. But only if you knew.

Re: If not evolution,

I just used his username. Queer.
