If you were given the option of an infinite source of income without having to do anything for anyone, and the 8 AM to 4 PM work lifestyle, which one would you choose and why?

I'd choose something in between. Who doesn't want an infinite source of income, but instead of working for someone, I'd use the money to establish a charitable foundation and my new job would be from 10am-4pm Mon-Thursday. Obviously setting up and running a trust is a full-time job that would keep me occupied and not idle and would be personally and spiritually satisfying.
Not to say that I'd give away ALL of the money, I'd spend some money on me and my loved ones - enough to afford a very comfortable lifestyle with some nice perks (travel, clothes, the odd luxury item). But coming from a modest background, I can't help and always reflect on the intrinsic value of "things" which means I wouldn't be buying things indiscriminately.

I'd go for the infinite source of income. It would enable me the freedom to complete my inventions. Okay, fine, I don't actually have any inventions, but that's just mere details.

I’d help my parents at first. When everything is settled down I’d probably save up for other stuff I need to do…Its a long list so I cant answer why.
