If "marriage" was not part of Islam, there would have been no word like "Premarital". Marriage is a contract that confines the exercise of animal instinct within socio-religious norms.
Although bf-gf relationship is not legitimate in many societies, yet even among the followers it doesn't offer a license to be licentious at will.
reason i put that way is b/c lets say marriage existed and premarital sex was also permitted, would you still go it? or if marriage wasn't part of Islam, doesn't mean it won't be part of other religions so you can have word like "premarital" without marriage being part of Islam.
I came to an conclusion, once you get married, chances are you are ******* for life b/c of her. So, as of now to be honest, i don't see any good reason(s) to marry besides halal sex or when you want kids.
i wouldnt get married if it were not a religious obligation. Seriously who would want in-laws in their life without majboori. I only had to be concentrating on the happiness of my man then and not my in laws.
premarital sex with some sort of security and no stigma attached to it in desi society
or if it was marriage then i would want it so that divorce didn't have such big stigma attached to it. that a divorced woman can remarry easily in the eyes of society.

i am thinking the same thing...its like too high a price to pay for getting laid.......

Why? Are you so convinced that the woman you marry will lie to you about her past?
i wouldnt marry so fast. its not about the sex, but to see, if really can spend my life with this one person... i mean, that i would live with him, without getting married...
