Turkey will in all likelyhood ponder and then chase WMD, being as it would be the only one in the neighbourhood (of the major states) without them.
This got me thinking, Pakistan are very close with Turkey, at the govt level and at the person to person level, do you think Pakistan would assist Turkey in that endeavor?
Do you think they should?
I feel we have no allies or friends comparable to the Turks, they have always stood by us and we are bound by history, culture and religion. I would consider anything to the benefit of Turkey to the benefit of Pakistan. Thus such assistance would be a fair and decent development.
No, not anymore than it already has. Nuclear proliferation is not in the best interest of Pakistan. Having a neighborhood full of these weapons makes their use more likely. It's just not a stable region, bad idea.
Iran is processing uranium for it's energy needs.. there are no weapons programs or WMD's in Iran's future.. unless dropped by the US.
Iran's development is happening right UNDER the nose of the IAEA.. Iran hasn't violated ANY laws she agreed to abide by.. compared to some countries which flatly refuse to accept those laws.. but hey.. can't speak against the chosen ones..
PA: Dont be that appeasing, Why should not Iran develop a nuclear bomb, tell me the qualification criterion for developing one.
PS: At least let them develop one, as Pakistan was the country that gave the Iranian's the know how of a P2 uranium enrichment reactor, * At least let it be a fair bargain.*
how about having the means and gonads to use one if necessary. That's a good reason.. How does Iran plan to deliver it and to whom? There are no immediate threats to Iran's survival from it's neighbors now that they are cozy with the Iraqi government... Why would they need WMD's? as a deterrant to whom?
It is a deterrant whether you deliver it through an ICBM, a comercial aircraft, sell it to a third party, throw it on a close ally of your enemy, or toss it in the sea.
As far as the gonads go... I think ahmidinijad has an extra set, thats just speculations...
