I am not much excited about the prospects of Pakistan winning but more excited about the possibility of India losing, oh maan that is going to be hillll … lllaario.. ous.
I would be good comedy.
But on the serious side I hope New Zealand wins this world cup .

India has a huge advantage over Pakistan. Mohali is a batting track. Tendulkar alone has made more runs than the entire Pakistani team, may be more than double the whole Pak teams total. Pakistani batsmen havent had much success during the tournament. Our highest run getter is Umar Akmal who bats at number 6 and he too has managed only 192 so far. Though 192 is quite good for a number 6, it tells you that higher order havent done so well.
India have played their matches in India and are used to the conditions. On the other hand Pakistan has played their matches on low and slow wickets of Bangladesh and Sril Lanka, they havent had any practice on Indian pitches.
Even in bowling department the two are comparable i think. Umar Gul is bowling well, so is Zaheer Khan. Rehman and Ajmal are comparable to Harbhajan and Ashwin. Afridi and Yuvraj are also bowling well. India also has edge when it comes to the wicket keeper.
So everything actually is in India favour and if they still loose on their homeground, infront of their crowd, they should drown themselves in their body fluids.

One reason for pk batters scoring low is tat they got the oppnent out at much lower scores ...

Zaheer khan is Among top wicket takers along with Afridi but none of Pakistani Batsmen are in top 20 while 5 Indians are up there. Still Pakistan managed to top the group stage and india cudnt. That tells you something.
Pakistan is chasing small totals compared to india.... The team is performing rather then individual Players.

Pakistan bowling first restricted teams under 180 three times in 4 games.. batting first they collapsed against canada but other two times they did Score 270 +.
I dont think Pakistan's Batting is as awful as everyone thinks it is.
I suggest If Pak Bats first and Scores 280 they can defend that total and Paks long batting line can chase upto 300. they chased 320 in same ground a little while ago.

Pakistan has been playing in Srilankan wickets that are not batting paradise as compared to many India wickets, but its not like they cannot score in Mohali.

No, mainly because we'd be losing to a strong Indian team and we're not favourites anyway. Given the odds I'd say the Indian players would stand to gain more for throwing the match.
