Some of the things you said are use full.
But if you are saying after this PTI would perform better in panjab, in national election, then you could be wrong.
PTI need to keep pounding noon, they have to free the system from noon.
Only then greedy/scared people in media, administration and judiciary would do their work properly.
Doing their work properly means they would be going against the interest of noon, it also mean they would be working in the interest of pakistan.
PMLN have built an illusion and PTI have bought it...
There is nothing special PMLN is doing to win elections... Here things they did during 2008-13
1) Kept themselves away from being center of attention of Media...they somehow kept PPP under under the limelight...later PTI came in picture...they came out when it matters....
2) focused on few projects...and most importantly during the 2010 floods and Dengue, the top leadership was at the site...you can call it drama or showbazii but people want to see their leaders among them...
3) Let PPP fail by not destabilizing them, despite Zardari's best effort...PMLN made them complete their term and voters did the rest
Things PMLN do to lure voters,
1) They dont focus on big rallies, door to door campaign and corner meetings in urban areas, meeting with biradaries and getting them in their ranks...
2) Do not defend their guilty one openly in public, unlike PTI or IK, who himself came to defend Ayla Malik and Murad Saeed...
3) Do their homework before issuing tickets...
These are few things
Last not least no one other than Sharifs is indispensable in PMLN...and it shall be proved in coming days....and they do not abuse...
Hint hint...NS is trying hard to get someone like Justice Wajihudin on his side...ahem ahem...PTI kicked him out....

i agree that this is a low point in PTI politics...while local elections are always won by the ruling govts (hence PMLN in punjab and PPP in sindh), but no one expected such a shameful defeat for PTI especially in Lahore, which means that PTI is right now comprehensively missing an organized structure at grass root level. Lets see IK's reaction to this crisis.
Although metro bus and motorway etc. are good infrastructure projects, the real building blocks of a nation apart from economy are health and education. Name one health or education reform that has been initiated by the other two major political parties PML-N and PPP! They simply aren't interested because the privileged class among them can send their children to private schools in Pakistan or send them abroad for higher education. They can also go abroad for medical treatment just like Zardari went to Dubai.
If IK can deliver on his health reforms it will be a very good step. He says university and education reforms will be his next target
Breaking the baradari shackles will take time but PTI must work on leaving a legacy of good governance in KPK.

I initiated a thread prior to LB elections and mentioned a fact that PTI have no candidates in half of constituencies of Lahore...says alot about their interest....
And as of we speak, things doesnt look goof in Multan as well...

Sharifs have decided to get rid of this Faisalabad mess, Rana Sanaullah has become a liability. NAB and Rangers/ Home Security of Punjab and feds start their operations in Punjab..
Once Sharifs will abandon him, like Zulfiqar Khosaas Rana is going to move towards PTI...
SherAli and family, they are kins with NS...hamza dont like them and is already working on to promote alternative leadership to promote them...

I see one of the three namooney Abid Sher Ali, his father Ch. Sher Ali or Rana Sanaullah almost daily on television (and for all the wrong reasons).
As for LB polls, Is PPP votebank in rural Sindh based on performance or for that matter the PML-N votebank in rural and inner Punjab? 40-50% of Lahore has improved but Lahore does not equal Punjab.
Faisalabad for instance ka wohi haal hai jo aaj sey 15-20 saal pehley tha..
Governance surely could be better in KPK but IK has no control over the biradari factor. It will take time to evolve
