Okay...let's see....
My dad was hanged. My two brothers were killed. My husband was imprisoned for a long time. My husband and I have been hounded on corruption charges (Interpol issued an arrest alert last year against us). Even though Musharaff has dropped charges against me now, there is no knowing what the future holds for me. And...last night I narrowly escaped being killed by a suicide bomber.
Now....why on earth...would I still want to risk my life and peace of mind to try and become a Prime Minister in a political setup that can be best described as a "lunatic asylum", of a mostly "lawless" country.
I have 3 children. I think I would just go back to Dubai/London and be there for my children, my husband and my family....and spend the rest of my life in relative peace and harmony.
Why would I put my hands in fire again, having burnt it several times before.
I cannot seem to fathom the motivation for doing so.
Conclusion : Either Benazir is genuinely patriotic OR she is an IDIOT.

She is not patriotic nor idiot. She has proved it over and over.
Its $1.7 Billion that is ceased by different governments and courts across the globe. The 5% she had with her for use must have been burnt out in last 8 years of lavish life style.
TOU AB KIYA BHOOKI MARE WOH? She has agreed to do the toughest job in the world to get access to her ceased money (made of corruption).
I was about to cry after all that news footages, bewaqoof aur ghareeb workers still don't understand her.
