Zardari Peoples Party (ZPP) will be marking 4th death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on 27th of December. Four years down the lane, party does not seem to be even a shadow of its own — all this with party leadership being fully oblivious of the plight and mess it has created within and outside the party. The self-appointed spiritual son of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto has in four years amassed enough material for historians to compile several books on political obituary of Pakistan Peoples Party. While I leave the in-depth analysis of what ZPP did in its four years in power, I was just wondering what the co-chairman will be touching upon in his address on the occasion of the anniversary. Fortunately, given his class, intellect and political acumen, I can safely and confidently assume that anything concerning public welfare and economy would be the last things he would be discussing in his speech. I can in fact list all he will have to say in his speech:
PPP is the party of martyrs and is all about sacrifices.
We spilled our blood for democracy which is in danger.
PPP will complete its term of five years.
Political actors will not be allowed to succeed
Anchorpersons (read Kamran Khan & Dr. Shahid Masood) are anti-state elements
Establishment is playing with new pawns (Read IK).
ZPP turncoats would be humiliated.
My illness was made a national issue and those madmouthing me are divine’s culprit.
We are torchbearers of progress and will take Shaheed BB saheba’s mission forward.
Memogate is a scheme of anti-Pakistan forces. Mian sahab should not have moved SC.
Institutions should remain within their limits of responsibilities
PPP fought with military dictators. PPP will fight with other (read SC) dictators also.
GARHI KHUDA BAKSH: President Asif Ali Zardari while addressing the gathering on the death anniversary of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto said that all institutions were under parliament and they (PPP) would not let the Federation break.
The president added that his party believed in democracy and listened to the parliament.
President Zardari further said that they would continue to fight undemocratic forces but would do so following democratic norms.
“We will fight for democracy, not seats” said President Zardari.
Speaking on the legacy of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, President Zardari said that Asifa will keep her legacy alive.
"We want to make history, not headlines" the president added.
Waleed Bro. Its a trend to use religion in your arguments when you actually not have solid answers. Be it comparing BB with Hazrat Husain(RA) or comparing IK’s lotas with Sahabas (RA).
Zardari said jab time ayega mein apna seena nikalonga
Pehlay Bullet-proof glass kay peechay say tou nikal, apna seena baad main agay kar lain
IK will never get votes on these hatred sentiments. They can be twisted by people to something that you guys will never like it. So being a moderator avoid such cheap shots. It only shows that how low thinking can bring you down the drain.
Zardari is not going to win next elections. I hope your IK will come to the power and we will see what tsunai or revolution he is going to bring for the people of Pakistan. Long time ago people sang songs for NS and Mush exactly the same way you are singing for IK. But we have only seen disasters.
