If in my quest to achieve my goals
I stumble or crumble and lose my soul
Those that knew me would easily co-sign
There was never a life as hard as mine
No father - No money - No chance and No guide
I only follow my voice inside
If it guides me wrong and I do not win
I’ll learn from my mistakes and try to achieve again…

hmmmmmmm .. but these kind of people learn from their mistakes n then get back to what they were - fall again n then learn n then repeat same mistake. Its a cycle.
Nevertheless - I liked this dude, lyrics r deep as hell! :k:
true, thats what are rappers, always into some sort of controversies. I liked him too, he’a my fav singer, but died too young.
btw u still listenin to “starin at the world through my rear view” ?
no, this was a poem.
thanx the poem is so much thought provoking and it just uplifts me, makes me feel like a man, so i could neva give up and believe that through faliure comes great success.
its also b/c no one is actually there to guide them thoroughly. While growing up they get bad company n its just gets into their roots. No matter how hard they try - its just impossible for em to truly give it up!
how did u know
I was actually watchin the video on utube
one of my fav 2pac’s songs! :k:

i agree! and i feel if they did'nt have a bad company and neva grew up on streets, we would'nt have likes of 2pac, Biggie, Eminem, etc. So bad company, bad influence and streets made them what they are today and they lived to tell the story.
