I think what Qurans stance on this is, one who have came back to his Creator, his sins of JAHALA will be forgiven, and it is not deyond from Allah that HE may transform his sins into goods.

but important element is he convert in good faith, given one do realise that he was wrong doer.

Khalib Bin Waleed's example fits here ( iam not comapring any one with someone) his tactics were the main reason that muslims lost the battle of Ohad and the casualities of Muslims side, yet when he converted, not only all his sins were forgiven but he was awarded as Sword of Allah.

No wonder if Hitler have converted to Islam and then used his powers for the Islam as they way taught by Quran and Hadith, he be one of the forgiven ones.

this discussion have raised one more question in my mind.

what about a person who knows that he is going to die on certain date ( e.g. cancer patients etc), will his touba will be accepted by Allah all mighty?

Thats what i dont understand............the impression i got in this thread is 90 % people believes that no matter how evil you are ...converting to islam will make u a saint..... this is just plain arrogance...cocky attitude *

hey who ever knows when their time will end? When you comitt to a religion with sincerity , its not because you are old and you can see death, its because you are seeking pardon for your wrong doings.Because you want to amend your ways, because you acknowledge your wrong doings. Is it so hard to concieve that people change? That is why we are not incharge of heaven or hell. More messed up stuff can happen if people become hopeless, the feeling that we are doomed what ever we do now because of what we have done before is going to create much more havoc than sense of redemption.

I personally feel first Allaah knows the best, the best eg is of Pharraoh who believed in Allaah in the last moment and his acceptance was rejected by Allaah because it was just before his death.

Secondly if we analyse the Quran itself Allaah says that any human being is accountable on the day of Judgement.

4:40
SHAKIR: Surely Allah does not do injustice to the weight of an atom, and if it is a good deed He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.

099.007 -008

So whoever is on the face on earth, is accountable on the day of Judgement, so Allaah knows the best regarding us or hitler and. Now just ponder over the verse below even Prophet Mohammed was revealed this ayah,

046.009 *
**SHAKIR:* Say: I am not the first of the messengers, and I do not know what will be done with me or with you: I do not follow anything but that which is revealed to me, and I am nothing but a plain warner.

But yes Allaah in the glorious Quran is mentioned

004.116 *
**SHAKIR:* Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and He forgives what is besides this to whom He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he indeed strays off into a remote error.

So let us wait and watch on the day of Judgement until then, let us be bothered about ourselves rather then the dead ones.:D

This is amazing stuff, Mr. Hitler who kill millions can be absolved with a magic wand in a second and on the other hand no salvation for Mother Terrisa for helping millions because she did not believe. Truelly amazing.

Hell no!
If converting to Islam is more important, and has more wieght then being a good and humane individual, then Islam has its priorities completely screwed up...
If converting to Islam or being a Muslim absolves someone of crimes against humanity, then Islam is truly the violent and inhumane religion people accuse it of being.

Mother Teresa herself most likely believed that nobody can attain salvation unless they embrace Christianity, regardless of how good their actions other than that were.

I was mentioning mother Terissa because I remembered one old thread last year about her in which people were saying that she is hell bound because she did not believe in Islam. You can find it somewhere in the old archives.
