And I am amazed that people will go two or three hours early just to line up and get one two or three weeks earlier than the rest of the world........
touche.
I understand that time is money and for some people 3 hours are more than $400 so they would rather spend money than to spend time, but for most of us, early morning unproductive hours seems to be a good investment than spending $400-$500.
Now why I stood in line, I already mentioned that in my blog :(
Please understand that I am not questioning your motivation to stand in line.......not at all......I totally understand why you did it.
What I cannot understand is the need to have these sorts of gadgets as soon as possible. What the attraction is in them I will never know......

TLK, never know. I have seen students making 300-500 on Xbox by standing in line for 20 hours. For a student its good amount he can make by just standing in line.
My personal experience with CL is pretty good although I have more selling experience than buying. Biggest Item I sold was my van and believe it or not, I got sold for MORE than what I bought it for a year ago. (may be because it was still under factory warranty). Then before moving to Canada, we sold almost everything that we could so we have to move less stuff. From furniture to kitchen stuff. From kids toys to TV, computer etc. Even now if we are going to move back to US, I'll turn back to CL/Kajiji
One just have to use head in CL (or any other online) transactions.
^ I guess its enthusiasm. I got really big on android development and as soon as Google launched their second Nexus Phone (a developers phone), I was first in line to get it. Luckily, the really nice, tech savvy or geeky products usually don't amass lines like what I refer to as fanboi (no offense to anyone) products such as the ipads.
