Ideas for masjid carnival stalls

Re: Ideas for masjid carnival stalls

Ok, sorry for the late reply…

At our masjid carnivals, they are fundraisers for the masjid itself, so all revenue from stalls, games, booths and activities are for the masjid itself. Last year was the first time we allowed people to “rent” stalls , and they were mostly clothes/kappray. We’re not allowing that this year because the two people who had their own stalls last year didn’t make anything and were not keen to do it again.

Given that your situation is different, a bake sale would be a good idea. My masjid youth group, for which I am an advisor, just had a bake sale 2 Jummahs ago, and we raised $675 for our youth group activities!

We had a mix of all homemade stuff…cookies, macaroons, cupcakes, cakepops and muffins. We also were selling Capri Sun juice pouches. Everything was priced from $.50 to $2.00 a piece.

I would advise keeping a variety of items and price points.
