there are more pics! lol..check the album carefully. These are not designer at all. My sister in law who is sitting next to me designed her own dress, it is mostly ghota kaam, i can tell you about my dress its really simple lol, i bought two chunri suits and dyed it shades of pink. I bought two because i wanted a frock, and normally chunri comes in 3 piece suit. Then i looked around the backside of liberty in lahore, you know when you walk past khusa mahel, and thier are narrow alleys full of different kinds of work at a fraction of a price of something designer. I saw that body work in one shop and told him to do it on my dress, plus the bottom dress is sprayed with a "chahta" and there is a border on the sleeves , frock and the dupatta. I only wish the body length (the top chest part)was less because it was too long and looked unflattering.

Oh I meant more pictures of the group so I can brainstorm ideas for chunri colors/appliques/kaam. There's one more of you guys but it's a low-light shot. I love gota, your SIL did a good job with the detail - alternating chunri kaliyan, yoke, cuffs, daaman. But I did see all your solo pics, they were lovely. I disagree; I think the length of your bodice was fine, gave it a nice fit. Is "chahta" like sequins/bling?

yes , chahta is bling !! lol, yes she did a good job, and i loved her dress. im pretty new at this myself, i can count the weddings ive been to, but now that im married, i will have alot more weddings to attend because my inlaws have a very big family. and no problem. glad to help.
