So girls, I’m planning my engagement which is going to be a super small close family event with only about 30 people. I want it to have the ambiance of an elegant dinner. We are thinking of putting up a tent in our backyard- which is much larger than trying to stuff everyone in the house. Anyone has any idea how much would that cost in the tristate area?
Any other ideas? I’m open to anything, thanks

I think a tent in the best garden is probly the best idea, we did my sister's engagement in the house and thank god we had just enough space!
I would say just look at which time of the year you're doing it, so you can think about whether it's warm, or will need heaters etc etc. Also look at how you're gonna seat people and the flooring, cos if you've got grass etc you dont want people to get muddy!
