Ideas for a 25th birthday?

I am planning a party for someone special this week.. he’s going to be turning 25, and I want it to be something really nice and memorable… cuz 25 is a big age.. but I don’t know exactly WHAT to do! Anyone have some good ideas or share how you celebrated your own 25th birthday.

I know its a retarded thread but Im no creative genius and really need help with this.

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

What's your budget?

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

Five hundred :bummer:

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

I'm assuming 500 dollars. How about a watch? You know what they say, 'Time is Money'. You have money and money will buy you a watch :P

Another option is that you could give him cash or in form of a gift card and he can buy whatever he likes.

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

Sorry HHL but this is very bad idea, paisya to us ke paass bhi hain khud hi gift le le gaa apni birrthdya per.
Sabi what is his interests ? And what you wanna do? A big party?or a nice gift with dinner?

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

^ I agree but sometimes this option comes in handy, especially for those that don't know what they want and sometimes are not too happy with the gifts they recieve. Other than that, it all comes down to what he likes and dislikes. If she knows what he likes, then it shouldn't be too hard.

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

You need to be more sepcific. Is he in the same city. Can you meet him and be with him for sometime.

Plus who is he? BF, Finace', significant other. hubby ?

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

why not take him to some health and beauty clinic , where he can get some specific and personalised treatments.

or get him some voice controlled home entertainment system

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

Did you know that last year, in the US there was $8 billion that were not redeemed/spent? (http://money.cnn.com/2007/11/12/news/gift_cards/index.htm)

If he’s a regular guy get him some toy, like a r/c plane or train or something. If he’s a techie the possibilities are endless (PM me for a big huge list) Keep in mind, the more buttons the better. If he’s a home theatre geek, get him one of those universal remote controls :). If he’s into golf get him a new driver. etc etc.

Re: Ideas for a 25th birthday?

Sorry for not contributing any creative idea for the birthday, but I am just curious as to what is special about 25. 16 I can see (he can drive); 18 I can see (he can vote), 21 I can see ( he can drink)... whats he gonna do differently now that he is 25? Methinks its just a number. A nice round number may be, but just a number. May be I am missing something. Silver jubilees make sense when you are talking about Olympics or anniversaries...

Re: gift cards... I truly believe Jay Leno's explanation. When you give someone a gift card what you are essentially saying is "I don't know what to get you, and frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn either!"
