its in fashion these wearing bridal maxi on walima day
i finally decided and order my 2nd day dress maxi its
sky blue with gold n sliver work heavy work but in stylish manners not too heavy.
n trendy thora modern look hain colour ki waja se ,
im happy… but bit confused still …
its in fashion or not ? its good idea ?

No. Stick to timeless fashion not trendy designs. A sharara or gharara is the way to go. In a few years when you look back you will ask yourself what possessed you to wear that style.
Something's are classics and will always look good. like red on shadi day. Of course a little trend to mark the period is fine but I would not go with super trendy stuff. again go with timeless classics for wedding and Valima. If like maxi get one made for Jahez or Bari .

It sounds beautiful! I love maxis. They're so graceful when made properly and you can always figure out a way to hem them up a few inches and get a churidar made with it for future use. Your colours also sound gorgeous! Good choice!

You said you're happy with it, so don't worry and stop questioning yourself, I'm sure it'll look beautiful. It is not some dramatically different style from the long kameez bridals that everyone wears now where you can only see a few inches of the sharara. And one of the good things is that you'll be able to wear the maxi that you described again after your valima instead of wearing it on one day just for a few hours. I've chosen a bridal maxi for my baraat day itself so you're not the only one to go down this route!

I think it will look beautiful. There's nothing wrong with trending on your walima day...usually people have a more modern look on walima and traditional on shaadi anyway so you're not going against the grain here completely.

girls my maxi which i order is Farshi long and bit heavy stone work.
and dopata is heavy not with matha patti ... bridal hain .
per commits dekh ke aap main thori se parayshaan ho rahe ho, mera idea wrong to nahi hain .

on wedding day will go for lehga or sharara ,.. or may be garara with medium long uper . not too long
but what looks more good lehga sharara or gharara .....
