I think that the headline is totally misleading. I am not Adnan fan but what he is saying that I have family and business here so I am not going to elope the country even if there are cases against my assets

BTW, i dont think adnan would say such a thing so balantly. i dont trust urdu media too much. they may have twisted his words. had he said that it would have been all over the hindi media as well.
i mean it makes sense that he chose to live in mumbai as he has a great future here, but it doesnt make sense for him to diss his own country of which he is still a citizen of.
just like we dont trust indian media :D ... they hav habit of twisting words as well!!

Could it be that since his assets are tied up in India, he is over-compensating and saying things that may appease Indian officials? He probably does not intend to say anything negative about Pakistan, but is going the extra mile to show his prefernce to be in India - possibly for self-preservation.
