id card

does anybody on here know anything about getting a pakistani id card

Re: id card

you should goto Lalookhet to get one.

Re: id card

You should be able to find applications online. What type of ID card are you applying for? We had ones made for us last year, foreign born Pakistanis.

Re: id card

EMAIL for ID Cards (NICOP:National Identification Card for Overseas Pakistanis) queries: [email="[email protected]"][email protected]

Re: id card

I got mine made last yr as an overseas Pakistani to renew my passport.. just downloaded the application online and sent it by mail.. I got mine in less than 2 months that is for 15 years and it entitles me a visa free entry to Pakistan.

They usually don't reply to emails since I had a few questions about my passport renewal but they never got back to me.. you can just download the form and send it to them.

Re: id card

^ So if you get a NIC eventhough you don't have a Pak passport, it works as a "visa" when visiting Pak?? I need to get it then! It will save me the hassle of renewing my visa every time I plan on going to Pak.

Re: id card

Yup Rukhs, no more expensive visas necessary! Just get the card and you are set.

Re: id card

Awesome !! thanks Mehnaz - I didn’t know that. I hope they don’t ask for a copy of my birth cert. because I don’t have that anymore :bummer:

Re: id card

yes, I think it should work..all you have to do is get the overseas Pakistani NIC and I think you dun have to apply for visa then.

Edit: they do require the birth certificate, though. :-)

Re: id card

they don't require birth certificate if you have ur parent's Bay form and also your pakistani passport. I am getting mine done rite now.

Re: id card

anybody here work there

Re: id card

K4bir where u at, if you don't mind me asking that. I know ppl down there, I don't work there though.

Re: id card

hi,i'm in the uk,the thing is ,my partner has applyed for a new card and for three months now were being messed about with,i was wondering weather someone on here could help me sort it out

Re: id card

^ K4bir, did your partner send her application to Pakistan or did it through the Embassy? If the former, then you’re in trouble, it could take months or even a year. However if the latter, then it should take no longer than 4-5 weeks as was the case with mine :k:
