Fire works lights the sky as Lahore Badshah’s romp home by 6 wickets in front of a massive crowd, a full house. Wonderful hitting. A great start by both the Imran’s 59 runs for the first wicket, what a wonderful night of fireworks with the bat. An amazing game. A stellar performance by Imran Nazir, the Man-of-the-Match, 83 from 38 balls, 9 sixes and 5 fours. :k:
Imran Nazir's Innings was a treat to watch and the losing captain Nathan Astle's comments: There was some amazing cricket shots played there and I think it goes to show the world that It's a shame someone like him (Imran Nazir) is not playing International Cricket. If the likes of Afridi can be be given countless chances (and he continues to flop with the bat) then I'd rather Nazir was given a long run in the ODI's as he isn't likely to make 0, 5, 10 all the time.

Two different cases. If Imran Nazir loses his wicket, he cannot be used in the bowling department. Hafeez, Farhat and him were a part of the circus and they were given countless chances to prove their mettle. Out of all, Imran Nazir was the most impressive but he was inconsistent. He was a fantastic fielder, however.
On the topic of ICL, PCB have already placed bans on all players who are with the "enemy" league which I am not in favor of. I feel these bans are unnecessary and should be lifted down the road.
They are only playing Cricket, sanctioned or unsanctioned what's the problem? I agree Afridi's bowling is lethal and that has kept him in the side really, if anything else.
