Frankly speaking I am not a big fan of ICL and I don’t agree when Kapil Dev said that ICL was better in cricket while IPL was better in terms of marketing. I think IPL did much much better in the 2 departments. Keep in mind I am not praising T20 but just comparing the 2 leagues. In my opinion, IPL demonstrated their dominance the very first day when Brendon McCullum smashed 150 runs during the IPL opener.
Anyway coming back to ICL which will kick off tomorrow. Badshahs will face Heroes. If you recall these two also clashed during the best of the 3 finals during the last season where Heroes unexpectedly clinched the title. Seems like Inzi and his squad have a score to settle. Would like to see Shahid Yousuf and Tahir Mughal in action.
I think both the ICL and IPL are exciting. Only thing that make IPL matches a little more exciting are quality of pitches and bigger grounds. Both leagues are full of big names.
Lol, still don't want him in Pakistani team, for Badshah waghera chalay ga. :D
Badshahs is full of legends and national heros (Imran Farhat) and Sami stands out with his performance in that team. Imagine what he can do now in Pakistan team. He can take us all the way to #2 in rankings.
