I finally got an ice cream maker and I can’t wait to start using it. The literature that came with it only gave me basic recipes for vanilla/ chocolate icecream..
and I’m insanely craving MANGO icecream. We also have a bunch of desi stores close by so I can go and get some great tasting pakistani mangoes too.. but no recipe..
I have tried this recipe and it turns out very good. You can substitute ripe mango(make a pulp) with canned mango pulp. I also have another mango ice cream recipe but I’m going to post it later as I don’t already have it typed.
When you make your ice cream. Eat it with crispy tempura fried banana. Fried banana and ice cream are often served in Chinese restaurants. The warm crispy texture of the banana and the cold ice cream in your mouth is a match made in heaven! So good!
