My cousin needs your help!
Basically for her MBA she has to create a business plan for a company. Her idea is to open a new family friendly ice cream palour in Multan that has luxury seating and a soothing ambiance. Along with icecream, she is proposing to sell golla ganda and slush.
If you have any feedback on what sort of products, prices and ambiance you would like to see in an ice cream palour such as this it would be very much appreciated.

My favorite place when I was a kid had a really wonderful familyambiance. You buy your cone or dish of ice cream and then proceed to a buffet like setup where you can add whatever you want from a kids-dream-come-true assortment of delightful toppings...crushed cookies, sprinkles, nuts, berries, fruits, syrups, candies.
Home-made specialty chocolates were for sale. Helium balloons for the kids.
Back then, specialty coffees werent "in" yet but would be a nice addition for the parents.
Weekly special events-maybe balloon-animal maker or clown. Guitar player who plays kids songs (Like Laurie whats her name from disney channel). Coloring contest, winner gets a free ice cream.

For ur cousin assingment i would suggest.
Selection of a good location.
Location tells you: what type of customer u would be deal and what type of customer service u should give the customer.
After selection of your location you can easily assume what will be the cost of your product and value added services for the customer.
Its help you in your budgeting you can easily estimate the ROI return of your investment.
Ingredient **of Success**
Location , Customer type , Customer Services, budgeting , make a project plan of these operation first.

I think she can also come up with a unique idea of MAKE UR OWN ICECREAM in which ppl can select their own flavour toppings chocolates cones and stuff.

i like the idea of a make your own sundae bar
as for ambience...make it family friendly..plenty of booster seats/high chairs available
a kids menu - smaller portions, maybe with toys
a play area
even an outdoor patio
as for products..ice cream, sundaes, fresh fruits, crepes/waffles, hot drinks (hot chocolate, expressos, lattes, cold drinks (milkshakes, smoothies)
