ICC World Cup 2015: India-Pakistan clash to be most watched match in history

Its also sunday on the 15th February would be great fun

Melbourne: The marquee cricket World Cup match between arch-rivals India and Pakistan in Adelaide on February 15 will be the most watched in the history of the game as it is expected to attract more than a billion viewers, according to a report.
The Group B clash will eclipse the 988 million who watched the two neighbouring nations clash in their 2011 World Cup semi-final at Mohali on March 30, ‘The Australian’ newspaper reported.
It said that the match has been sold out for six months.
“It will be unlike any cricket match ever seen in Australia,” an unnamed World Cup official was quoted as saying by the newspaper.
Pakistan has never won a World Cup fixture against India, who have won all the five games since they first met in 1992 when Australia and New Zealand hosted the tournament.
Bookmakers Centrebet has Australia at a seemingly short USD 3.50, followed by South Africa at USD 5, India and New Zealand both at USD 7 and England at USD 12.

sorry, that is a private joke between us. It is well known on GS that when d6c watches Pakistan's matches we lose. That is the joke around here.

I feel nothing less than 300-325 could challenge India’s strong batting: Javed Miandad

JAVED MIANDAD

Re: ICC World Cup 2015: India-Pakistan clash to be most watched match in history

Given our batting lineup and on Australian pitches dont even think of crossing 130-150 bruv

Re: ICC World Cup 2015: India-Pakistan clash to be most watched match in history

1.2 pct increase in viewership over 4 years. Comes to about 0.27 pct annualized growth - in line with the tepid inflation seen globally.

Hoping against Hope

Re: ICC World Cup 2015: India-Pakistan clash to be most watched match in history

High hopes from Shahzad,Umar Akmal and Shoaib Maqsood and Afridi

Whatever Misbah and Younis score will be bonus

Re: ICC World Cup 2015: India-Pakistan clash to be most watched match in history

Yes our batting line up is brittle but Indian bowling is hardly something to be afraid of. If they cant score 130-150 against Indian bowling than there is no hope.

Re: ICC World Cup 2015: India-Pakistan clash to be most watched match in history

In one of the espncricket articles, it was said that teams that lay a good foundation will do well in this world cup.

Who better to lay a rock solid foundation than the great Misbah and his understudy Younis.

Re: ICC World Cup 2015: India-Pakistan clash to be most watched match in history

Uncle against the same bowling attack we could not chase 267 in semi final :(
