Is it just me or somebody else also find this group distribution odd? Its totally unbalanced.
First of all with 10 teams, plainly dividing them in 2 groups and then taking 2 team out of it will summarize the tournament quickly and is old-fashioned but not the best of the formats these days.
Second, look at the Group B. Funny they didnt put SA in there otherwise all strong teams are there while group A is clearly weaker.
Points Table
First Round
Group A - Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands, Oman.
Group B - Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Scotland, Zimbabwe.

Super 10 (Group 1) - England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, *Group B winner
Super 10 (Group 2) - **Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan,*Group A winner
**Australia **just scored freaking 205 runs today in a 20 over chase against SA on a wicket very similar to wut it’ll be in India.
**NZ **has won 4 out of 5 last T20s against Pakistan, the only difference could be the venue but i dont think that’ll stop them from hitting.
**India **will have a complete home-ground home-crowd advantage and besides after winning in Asia cup their confidence will be sky high.
So it’ll take mammoth effort for Pak to come through this group but with the stupid captain like Afridi the only thing we can expect is another nightmare tournament.

as if we had won against South africa, england.......;)
You know its like old-times phadda in the streets of our country where you fight with a big badmaash and people hold u back and u scream, “Oye chor do mujhe, nahi chorunga men isko aaj…” while praying in heart that people keep holding you tightly
Pak would hv kicked everyone’s ass , had it been in group A
nope! in India, it's quite dry in March in Nagpur, kolkata, Delhi and Mumbai...Dharamsala is an exception because it's a hilly area. we had some hail in Allahabad and adjoining areas but nowhere close to the match venues. i doubt there will be any rained-out days except in Dharamsala.
