After Pak vs NZ test series was over, it was something like this:

  1. Australia
  2. South Africa
  3. Pakistan 102
  4. England 101
  5. NewZealand 100
  6. India 95
  7. Sri Lanka

Pakistan was 5th before beginning of Pak vs NZ series and India was 6th.

Its 12 to be 2nd NOW, but if SA wins WI series 3-0 then SA will be at 113, but if they win series 2-1 they'll be at 110. 4-test series against Aus gave India 5 points, so I think it'll take more than 2 series for India to be 2nd, assuming SA won't play any further :D

Edit: NZ vs SA series is coming in March, perhaps India will be playing Pakistan some tests during that time.

^ Too much to digest, but it's safe to say India will have to play rather well all year to get anywher near 2nd place. Fingers crossed.
