Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
I think Rana and Afridi needs to sit out for next game.

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
its all over for Paki's. does Afridi and Rana deserve a place in the next match?
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
I keep thinking, Afridi's 10 ball 34 cameo would have been handy at this stage, and equivalent of a century by an opener!

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Chalo off to next match. We still can have a second bite at the cherry.
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Chalo koi baat nahi. Hota hay. But they should try to get close to the total.
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Arafat is definitely better than 'current form' of Naveed. So Naveed needs a rest definitely, whatever Arafat does, he'll at least be better than Naveed.
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Well, the thing is when Shoaib and Asif are out, Pakistani team will have trouble winning games via ball. The score was just too high, and we from start had to rely on our batsmen to win the game for us, mainly the middle order, which is incomplete without Inzamam. The only way we can beat South Africa is with ball while they are full-strength. Tough game ahead.
p.s: PCB better have good reasons with this tribunal.

*and how can we improve the damn fielding? NZ players have stopped at least 7 4s that i have seen...they may have stopped more when i was not watching ! *
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Anyone missing Inzimam's "leading from the front as batsman"? :-|
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Yaar...Akmal hit harder before leaving the crease...please... :)
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Sure I do.
Thats what going to happen after World Cup when Inzi hangs his boots.

It will help if they had more agile and atheletic players and are less lazy.
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
Decision to choose field first on this ground was also wrong decision by pakistan.
Re: ICC Champions Trophy 8th Match: Oct 25th, Pakistan vs New Zealand, Mohali (D/N)
here is a quiz question; How many Pakistani batsmen got out on the Short Ball? ![]()
