shoaib and razzaq shud have been sent instead of Afridi, this suggests that younis is already in panic mood and has decided to take risks, not a good sign

I hate that I keep getting right about Afridi. No offense to him, but now we are 4 down. He would have done better coming to bat after 35th/40th over. 275 is not a huge total that we needed a do-or-die tactic so early in the innings.

Afridi out caught off a top edge.

Why did they send him instead of Shoaib Malik? Why not preserve him for late order hitting? Why is Woolmer/Younis combo being as stubborn as Woolmer/Inzi?

Now the next batsmen will have to work on rebuilding and avoid a collapse instead of playing their natural game. This is the disadvantage of sending Afridi in up the order. We could have used his hitting in the last few overs, that wuold have boosted his confidence too.

Afridi is so badly out of form that its not even funny anymore that he is sent at such a crucial position.

There is no point sending Afridi in middle of a mini-collapse to worsen it up. If they ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE TO send him on top, send him as opener.
