yeah but no Raza Hasan, and too many of the old timers still there who will probably block entry of new comers. Malik, Afridi And Arafat???!!!
One baby step at a time :D, I believe this tournament will be last for many 'seniors' probably including Misbah.

Although there is a lot of potential there, let's not get too excited as time and again Misbah has shown a reluctance to include youngsters in the team. It all really comes down to the final XI. He would still persist with Kamran Akmal, Farhat, Afridi and Malik at the expense of Umar Akmal, Ahmed Shehzad, Hammad, Haris etc.

However there is a (small) chance that Misbah might lead Pakistan in CWC2015 in Australia esp. if he can continue playing like he did in SA. He will be 40 years and 9 months in Feb 2015 though!
Shoaib Malik recently said of him, "Misbah is fitter than many of current players"
Given how useless everyone else was in SA (and pitches in Australia are similar), he'd have to drop pretty sharply to be out of the top 6. My only beef with Misbah is that he doesn't give youngsters a chance.
PCB and Misbah need to make that decision before the end of 2013 (at the latest)

True. However if PCB inserts Hafeez as Captain for ODIs as well and let him lead for the next 5-6 years with Asad as a permanent VC then you can imagine a good transition in 2018 - 2019.

Desperate times call for desperate measures
"Age" is not a strong enough argument to sideline Misbah (or anyone) when he is still one of the best fielders and batsmen in the side.
Since we have rubbish batsmen (but that is **mainly because *not *enough young players are given a run in the side**), Misbah leading us in 2015 is a possibilty for sure
Hafeez (likely captain in 2015) and Malik need to be consistent performers first

It is very unlikely that we will get a selfless captain in our team, our captains have "friends" who are 'been there/done that' and will keep calling them back for 'may be he will do it again' or 'he helped me I need to help him now' etc.

Hahahahaha If this happens we are going to come back in the first round itself........One good series doesnt makes him a good ODI player at all which he can never be!
