However there is a (small) chance that Misbah might lead Pakistan in CWC2015 in Australia esp. if he can continue playing like he did in SA. He will be 40 years and 9 months in Feb 2015 though!

Shoaib Malik recently said of him, “Misbah is fitter than many of current players”

Given how useless everyone else was in SA (and pitches in Australia are similar), he’d have to drop pretty sharply to be out of the top 6. My only beef with Misbah is that he doesn’t give youngsters a chance.

PCB and Misbah need to make that decision before the end of 2013 (at the latest)

Personally I think it would be Hafeez or Malik but you just don’t know. Misbah should only play if he is one of the top 6, irrespective of age

It is very unlikely that we will get a selfless captain in our team, our captains have “friends” who are ‘been there/done that’ and will keep calling them back for ‘may be he will do it again’ or ‘he helped me I need to help him now’ etc.
