I opened thread after reading this hadith (found online): "Al-Qurtubi said in his commentary explaining the verse quoted at previous page: I say: what is proven in saheeh reports concerning this matter is that which was narrated by al-Humaydi in al-Jam’ bayna al-Saheehayn from Imaam Abu Bakr al-Burqaani, who narrated in his book with an isnaad from Abu Muhammad ‘Abd al-Ghani ibn Sa’eed al-Haafiz from the report of ‘Aasim from Abu ‘Uthmaan from Salmaan that the Messenger of Allah 
said: “Do not be the first one to enter the market-place or the last one to leave, for there the Shaytaan lays his eggs and there they hatch.” This indicates that the Shaytaan has offspring from his loins.
And while searching I found this hadith:
Salman reported: In case it lies in your power don’t be one to enter the bazar first and the last to get out of that because there is a bustle and the standard of Satan is set there. He said: I was informed that Gabriel (Allah be pleased with him) came to Allah’s Apostle and there was with him Umin Salama and he began to talk with him. He then stood up, whereupon Allah’s Apostle said to Umm Salama: (Do you know) who was he and what did he say? She said: He was Dihya (Kalbi). He reported Umm Salama having said: By Allah, I did not deem him but only he (Dihya) until I heard the address of Allah’s Apostle informing him about us. He (the narrator) said: I said to Uthman: From whom did you hear it? He said: From Usima b. Zaid.

LKK bhai, I only asked what is the point in asking if shaitan has any offspring or not. Unfortunately,there are many evil people who could be considered even worse than shaitan himself (figuratively and qualitatively speaking). Hence it really does not matter if shaitan has offspring or not, his work is being done in many ways. (Sarcasm was intended in my earlier post as well. :) )

I agree with Diwana-100% -- but our Nafs is satan or iblis --if you are asking for specifically for offspring not all translations has indicated as offspring(s) some translation indicate as his comrades , his followers, his soldiers -Like in politics there is Leader ( Satanly dirty nafs not all but many leaders and their advisers so on ) if you look in this view of translation all will make sense -- please also review the post of I think of Mughul ( it is an Ideology )-- concept-- followers etc --and Pai LKK you do ask tricky question bro- hermano- brudur- brother- bhai
And what our Nafs do against the will of ALLAH and leave a foot print on others that they might follow the same as our followers- comrades etc---

“Nafs” is something different and I don’t consider our Nafs is satan or iblis. Do the satan or iblis objurgate ourself on commiting wrong? I read the post of Mughal Bhai and I think he’s talking about like having good and bad qualities. There are many many peoples who don’t even believe in existence of satan or ibles. Offspring of satan is out of question.
