Yea only difference is, younis khan's home ground wickets are Faisalabad, Multan and Bell scores at Lords and Oval.
Younis had few rough years in the beginning and so did bell, Younis has been in his top form for last 6-7 years. Bell has started scoring in last 2 years and he is 5-7 to go. So I think next few years will be brightest for bell and alot of facts abt his statistics will change.
We shouldn't just look at abilities to play in 'greener' conditions as the only criteria for a batsman's skill, ideally a batsman should be able to play on all types of pitches but turns out those who play well on greener/bouncier pitches do not necessarily play good on dead/dusty-bowl pitches and vice versa. So Ian Bell has skill for one and not for other, same goes for Younis. Both have played 66/67 matches, Younis has scored about 1000 runs more than Bell. If Bell in the end gets better average/more centuries than good for him but IMO he would still be a "good" batsman and not a legendary one.

Just tell me one match in which Bell saved England from defeat or even let a draw n whats Ian Bell highest score i dont think he even scored a double century ever
Where Younis Last year saved a match against Africa and then against NZ in NZ
thats a good point… But 80% of times when a Pakistani batsman scores a 100 it will help a lot coz he will be the only person who scored. Bell only gets a chance to score when cook, peterson, strauss, and trott fail too.
Bell hasnt scored a double yet but had 199. Here is what bell had done in last 2 years
The way Razzaq and Kamran Akmal saved the game against India in India, Younis have never saved a game in that fashion ? are akmal and RAzzaq better than younis khan ?

please name some legenedary batsmen.
Bell only suffered in Carabian wickets, but only played 1 match there. Every where else his avg is above 44.
Khan Suffered in carabians too with avg below 24 in 5 matches and In Africa Avg below 34 in 7 matches.
If you play Ashes 2009 on PS3.
Younis Khan has power 90 over bells 68. However that was 2009. Lets see how they rate em in Ashes 2012.

So what makes you think Ian Bell will become a legend in 5 years or after? Are you saying all the batsmen you listed who play ahead of Ian Bell will disappear and only Ian Bell will continue to play like Tendulkar?

I was hoping bell will score a double, well Hopefully double is coming soon. I think i stretched it a lot when i called him legend in making but to me Mohammed Yousaf is a legend too. Its just how strict r u on defining legend.
I said it from start that He isnt scoring a lot of runs, but technically he is very very strong hence capable of scoring a lot of runs.
Bell also took 2 very good catches at forwardshort leg. Both times, batsmen pulled the ball - he did not take his eyes off the ball and took excellent catches.
Bell is #3 in top batsmen list for test Matches. If he keeps batting at # 3 he will shld be #1 soon.
Only two problems.
1st. I am pretty sure when trott comes back he will play @ #3.
2nd. England plays their next test match in late March next year !
