The link to images on the pak.org main page says "Pak images" so why are IAF planes still here? Mods?
I agree with muffakar.
For ‘Gali’- a comment followed by a quot-e the IAF has the highest crash rate in the world! No exxageration! What exactly do you find to be proud of?!!! As for the PAF, well India doesn’t like to think about it much, and the comment below is why:
Gen. Chuck Horner of the United States Air Force (USAF) and Commander of Allied Forces in the 1991 Gulf War in his biography by Tom Clancy, Every Man A Tiger:
“Pakistan has one of the best, most combat ready air forces in the world. They have to, their neighbour to the east is huge, and the two nations have a long history of hostilities. For Indian war planners, the Pakistan Air Force is their worst fear. Pakistani pilots are respected throughout the world, especially the Islamic world, because they know how to fly and fight”.
Muslims wouldn't be sabotaging these aircraft in the multicultural, India society?
What, no pictures of the TU-22 Backfire?

Who knows according to (PAC) Public accounts commission IAF has crashed 221 fighter jets from 1990 to 2000.
This year so far they have crashed 11 in 5 months.
LOL I bet some of the planes shown in these pictures must also have crashed...
Thanks for sharing!
No offence, but most (if not all) of these aircrafts/planes are UGLY!
Ugly and deadly, older ones seem so much more benign and noble.

Well you may be 'happy; to know that teh vast majority of teh IAF planes are those older ones. You know, those MIG's with the circle and cone in the middle.
Yeah, MiG 21's from the late fifties design desk. Still a neat design, as some US pilots have stated a liking for them. The MiG 25 is old too. My vantage point is different, your priorities are more of staying current for defense reasons.
Hmmm, more of a ‘classic’s’ man, huh?

A true ‘connaisuer’!
Sorry, you won’t find many of those in the PAF! If you want to see the Indian ones, hurry! With the highest crash rate in the world, they won’t be around long!
There are enough examples built, anyhow. I enjoyed seeing the PAF virtual air museum, even before this current crisis. Neat stuff, there. The old British prop jobs used by the PAF in the late 40's must have been a handful.
yara maaf kerna

since, lot of things have been said about the crashes of indian fighters,my point is india has capability to produce fighters at brisk rate( HAL is doing great job),except mirages and su-30s all other fighters r produced locally,so dont worry about indian crashes!

gali ke goondey!
I am soo impressed by the IAF. With a huge fleet I guess it is a big threat to PAF.
ok now, u can guys can start swearing on me for that comment. lol thats all I can expect from pakis on this board! LOL .. I am sure once again someones gona mention the crash stats of IAF. hehe .. nothing better to say I guess.
I was wondering if any sensible guy here can post the exact fleet of PAF here. That is number of aircraft and which ones. If someone can, then plz do so coz I was having a hard time searching for it on the net. As far as I know F-29s are equally strong as F-16s with both having its pros and cons. If I can get an exact figure of the PAF fleet, I would like to make a comaprison of both IAF and the PAF. Anyone generous enough to do that for me please???
Thanks
Aatif
watch out buddy your pilot will fall through tail
http://www3.pak.org/gupshup/smilies/hehe.gif
btw … i m amaized that IAF has this much of a equipment (among best) and even then they were unable to secure skys for their army in previous wars ..the reason i guess is the person flying the dumb machine

These pics are **VERY ** selective. The majority of IAF planes are decades old. But as their crash rate show, their pilots suck as well!
ehehee.. i know i know infact i still rem that “sardar pilot” whose net plane was forced down to land on ground (and that was latest at that time). Usnay shart lagiee pakistani pilots say k is jahaz ka karoo gaay kia is ko tu tum start bhee nahee ker saktey (1000 Rs bet). If i rem the name correctly Sq.Ldr.Rafiqi took about 30 min to understand the controls and YEE JA WO JA
