I officially announce my retirement from following cricket. Could use all ‘this time’ for a greater purpose, specially when my country is going through such a tough time. No words to describe one’s sadness. The two wins in Tests were in the end not comprehensive wins but almost saved from humiliation. The strike players blamed and removed. No home matches advantage. Selectors and the PCB are…can’t used a bad word in Ramadhan. Every time there is a breaking news, it is more heart aching than the previous one. There doesn’t seem to be an aspect left where we haven’t made ourselves a laughing stock in front of international media. There is a rare good news after a long time.
I hope inshaAllah I would keep my words and stay away from cricket for as long as possible.
Re: I Won't watch cricket again. Have had enough as a 'Pakistani fan' !
I do not blame GOGO
Sometimes I feel that Pakistan should use the current scandal as an excuse to clean up the mess within our cricket and pull out of all international commitments for a year incl. next year's cricket world cup. Given our current preparation esp. our continuing batting woes, our participation in the world cup is purely academic anyhow.

Yawar Saeed getting out will hurt Ijaz Butt. Ijaz Butt getting out will hurt our dear Defense Minister. Defense Minister getting out will hurt our dear President. President getting out is the only chance of us getting some decency back into our cricket, and elsewhere.

Have fun crime master, you don't give up on your team when they are going thru hard times, they can't go down any further than this, and we still have competitive team, inshallah we will survive this, get up and be better from it, But I'm sure you will come back crawling to the team once they get better. You're a bandwagon fan
Re: I Won't watch cricket again. Have had enough as a 'Pakistani fan' !
And who brought those "hard times" on the team? Raw ke agents, or Mossad ke agents, or their own greed and corruption?
first of all khoji; you already assumed they are guilty, so i can't change your mind about that, and i won't, don't wana waste your or my time, and "inshallah", go look at what that means, once you have learned it then come back and talk to me.
Re: I Won't watch cricket again. Have had enough as a 'Pakistani fan' !
Anyone who thinks that no Pakistani cricketer ever fixed a match is simply blind.
Keep talking 'insha Allah' and 'subhan Allah' instead of doing the right thing.
You hope that 'God Willing' Pakistan team will come out of this crisis. I am saying that do not involve God in this. Problem is with Pakistani players and their actions. If Pakistan team has to come out of this then it would be the 'charsi' 'mawali' players who have to change ways. No duas will work.

if he is a true cricket fan…then he won’t be able to stay away too long..

I swore so many times to myself…but everytime I have time…I still check quietly what Pak team is up to…
