How do they jump directly to that high level, without starting at the lower levels? Look at it this way, when learning Urdu in class 3, we had to read the simple lessons which taught us the basics. Then the lessons kept on progressing in difficulty in each class. Only then were we able to understand class 10 lessons such as writing of Munshi Premchand and Patras Bokhari.

If Punjabi is not taught at the lower levels, how is an official version of Punjabi maintained?

As it is written in Urdu script, there is not much difficulty in following it graduation level. But as I said earlier, I’m not aware, whether it is taught at lower level. Someone from Punjab may confirm it
