I want to name my son 'ISRAEL'

Suppose some of your close muslim friend tells you that he is going to name his son ‘Israel’… how would you react ?

And If you are muslim, then what would be your reaction ?

Yes some one could be named israel.
I think its one the names which one's are common in all 3 faiths.

LOGIC:- you can’t put a blame on a personality for the wrong doings of his followers. Look around what some extremists are doing, blowing themselves and innocent people, should people STOP naming their children Muhammad only for THAT reason?

The same reaction that an American visa officer has when he looks at a kids passport with a name like Osama or Saddam! A chuckle.

Go ahead name him Israel. It is a nice Quranic name.
